Ground Situation: Since the afternoon of Tuesday 14th March, the well-known area of Lahore, Zaman Park, was facing a police crackdown and resilience from PTI workers. We have never before seen such a sight in Pakistan where an EX-PM's residence was attacked in such a way. As the police called in reinforcements and began marching towards Zaman Park to arrest Imran Khan, his supporters/workers held their ground to protect him. These people have been living outside Khan's residence for weeks (some for even months) just for the sake of protecting their beloved leader. While Khan would constantly suggest a surrender to the police to avoid conflict and bloodshed, his supporters would simply not let him do so.
